Construction and As-Built BIM Modeling of Electrical Systems
ArcUp carried out construction-phase and as-built electrical BIM modeling for the prestigious Corso Italia 23 – Allianz complex in Milan, designed by SOM – Skidmore, Owings & Merrill and built by Colombo Costruzioni S.p.A. The development comprises two underground levels, a ground floor, and four linear buildings of varying heights. By leveraging advanced technologies and specialized expertise, we produced a detailed BIM model of the electrical systems serving the complex. The BIM modeling process enabled the effective management of issues typically arising during the construction phase, allowing potential clashes to be identified in advance and playing a key role in optimizing both schedule and costs. Our precise and targeted approach ensured the integrity and efficiency of the electrical systems, supporting a highly efficient design and construction process.
